Fruity Citrus Punch
“That was SO GOOD! Can I have more?” This is a quote from a real 6-year-old after his first taste of this punch. Naturally, he did get more because Fruity Citrus Punch is so easy to make. This is the perfect drink to make all summer long. It’s light and refreshing and would be great to drink at a cook out or by itself as you sit on your porch swing as the sun sets.
We’ve been making regular Citrus Punch for many years in our store and our customers know that we have the ingredients they’re looking for when they want to make this for a wedding reception or other large gathering. We add citric acid, sugar, and lemon emulsion to water to make regular Citrus Punch, but just recently we started experimenting with the recipe and found that if we add Torani flavoring syrups to it, the flavor and delight you get from drinking it goes through the roof.
You can use any flavor of flavoring syrup you think will go well with lemon. We really like peach, but lime and orange are fantastic too. You can also use orange emulsion instead of lemon for more flavor combinations. The possibilities are endless!
- 1 gallon water
- 1 cup Torani flavoring syrup
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
- 4 teaspoons lemon emulsion
- 1 cup sugar
- Combine all ingredients in a container that is larger than one gallon and stir to combine. Enjoy!
